Peter Chapa, Founder

I started in construction as an unskilled laborer and worked my way up to Chief Operating Officer of a fast-growing commercial general contractor.

Along the way I poured concrete, set steel, laid block, framed, roofed and ran excavators, loaders and lifts. I've run jobs as a superintendent, managed projects from preconstruction through closeout, and led estimating, preconstruction and operations for a company delivering ground-up car washes, travel centers, retail and specialty buildings across Colorado.

Most preconstruction advice comes from people who have only seen projects from an office. I know what a scope gap looks like in the field, what a light allowance turns into, and which line items become change orders. Same Side Advisors puts that experience to work for owners before they sign.

Peter also serves as COO of Aslan Corporation, a Colorado general contractor. Same Side Advisors is a separate firm. Any relationship with a contractor bidding your project is disclosed in writing before work begins.
